Custom Cooler & Insulated Bags

Develop cooler bags around the contents, journey and cleaning routine. Review lining, insulation, seams and closures together, and define payload, temperature and duration before evaluating thermal or leak performance.

Discuss This Product

Start with the intended use. Quantity, timing and materials can still be undecided.

01 · Intended use

Begin With the User, Load & Environment

  • Retail lunch-carry ranges sized around reusable containers and separate ice packs.
  • Outdoor leisure collections for packaged drinks and picnic supplies, with cleaning access prioritised.
  • Branded travel programmes pairing insulated carry with complementary outdoor essentials.

02 · Formats to develop

Choose a Practical Starting Format

Compact Soft Cooler

Discuss a compact format for a defined drink or container load. Balance opening access, handle comfort and insulation bulk against the packed size; the existing image is an illustrative format reference.

Everyday Insulated Bag

Explore an everyday lunch or thermal-tote brief with a lining that can be reached for cleaning. Confirm container fit, upright carrying and closure layout rather than assuming the pictured bag's internal construction.

Coordinated Cooler Range

Consider related sizes for a retail collection, sharing colour and branding direction. Each size needs its own payload and construction review; a common appearance does not establish equivalent temperature performance.

03 · Customisation

Define What Must Be Different

Specify the essential functions first. Material availability, construction and budget determine which options are feasible.

  • Size and compartment layout around container dimensions, ice-pack placement and target loaded weight.
  • Shell colours, print or label placement, handle lengths and shoulder-carry options, subject to construction review.
  • Lining access, pocket positioning and care-label wording matched to the proposed cleaning routine.

04 · Materials & construction

Make the Trade-Offs Visible

These are design choices to evaluate during development, not automatic features or performance guarantees.

Wipe-clean coated lining or removable liner

Potential benefit
Offers different approaches to reaching spills and drying the interior.
Trade-off
Coatings and removable attachments introduce durability or fit questions.
Confirm before sampling
Agree cleaning agents, drying access and intended contact with packaged contents; no food-safe certification is represented.

Shell, foam insulation and lining stack

Potential benefit
Allows thickness and coverage to be discussed against the intended payload.
Trade-off
More insulation can increase bulk and reduce usable internal volume.
Confirm before sampling
Specify layer materials, thickness, corner continuity and closure coverage before comparing proposed samples.

Stitched seams or sealing-compatible liner construction

Potential benefit
Creates options for addressing likely spill paths at the base and corners.
Trade-off
Sealing compatibility may limit materials and complicate repairs.
Confirm before sampling
Define liquid quantity, orientation and exposure duration for a proposed leak check; do not assume leakproof performance.

Wide zip opening or overlapping closure

Potential benefit
Balances loading access with coverage at the opening.
Trade-off
Easy access may create gaps; tighter layouts can restrict cleaning.
Confirm before sampling
Review closure details, opening frequency, cleaning reach and expected transport position.

05 · Development checkpoints

Illustrative concept / development discussion

Illustrative development discussion — not a completed customer project or verified test result.

This is not an actual Liora project or validated sample. Existing images illustrate format directions only. Proposed checkpoints: brief review produces a payload-and-use specification; construction review produces a layer and seam proposal; sample review would produce fit, cleaning-access and leak-path observations. Any agreed thermal evaluation would document ambient temperature, starting payload temperature, payload quantity, ice-pack arrangement, opening frequency and duration alongside observations for buyer review. No completed tests, lab reports or guaranteed cold-retention hours are claimed.

06 · MOQ & sampling

Plan Around the Actual Specification

Minimum order quantity

Typical carry MOQ is 300 pieces per style per colour. Discuss quantities by size and colour before selection; material availability and construction affect feasibility. Smaller pilots are only considered following a feasibility review, not automatically available.

Sampling influences

Start with container dimensions, intended contents and cleaning expectations. Agree a proposed sample scope, review criteria, timing and cost before proceeding. Fit, insulation stack and seam decisions should be recorded before approval; visual acceptance alone does not validate thermal or leak performance.

07 · Before you brief

Helpful Details to Bring

  • Provide container dimensions, payload quantity and target loaded weight.
  • Define ambient temperature, payload starting temperature and evaluation duration.
  • Specify ice-pack quantity, placement and expected opening frequency.
  • Describe spill exposure, carrying orientation and cleaning method.
  • Confirm sizes, colours, artwork, quantities and buyer acceptance criteria.

Related Development Questions

How should we brief temperature performance?

Specify ambient temperature, payload type and quantity, starting temperature, ice packs and duration. Agree measurement points and an acceptance threshold before evaluation; avoid a universal cold-retention-hours claim.

Does a wipe-clean lining make the bag leakproof?

No. Cleaning access and liquid containment are separate decisions. Review seam paths and closures, then agree a spill quantity, orientation and duration for assessment of the proposed construction.
